In addition to European type approval for vehicles produced in unlimited or small series and European individual approval, SNCH provides national individual reception at the request of converters, manufacturers or individuals for a given vehicle (new, converted or imported).
Individual National Reception
The Individual National Reception issued by SNCH is essential for manufacturers or owners of vehicles that do not comply with usual European standards but which, under current regulations including the Highway Code, are eligible for registration in Luxembourg. It represents a tailored solution for unique vehicles, offering a path to compliance without compromising their distinctive character.
Our evaluation and certification methodology
SNCH's methodology for Individual National Reception is based on a comprehensive technical evaluation performed by one of the technical services approved for this purpose. After ensuring the vehicle's compliance with current regulations and analyzing the technical service report and addressing any remarks, SNCH issues the homologation certificate which can be presented to the National Automobile Circulation Company (SNCA) for vehicle registration purposes.

Technical services are approved by the Ministry of Mobility and Public Works on SNCH's recommendation after undergoing the evaluation process. SNCH is accustomed to working closely with its approved technical services, with which it has been processing European type approval requests for many years.
